Google learns to determine the location of photos

Another interesting patent application from Google is waiting for consideration by the Committee in the U.S.. The new technology allows you to find the location using the photo. Google will upload photos to your server, and then try to determine where, given the information about the other photos. If a match is found, the result is sent to the user. This option is finding a location seems too complicated.
Navigating with GPS or cell towers seem much easier. But until a patent is only a patent, so there is no certainty that in the future this project will be implemented.
